Pressure washing bid template

A commercial bid is judged on the method statement as much as the number. The property manager comparing three sheets is looking for the one that says what pressure, what chemical, where the water goes and who carries the insurance. Fill this in, print it, and be the one that answers those questions before they are asked.

Where the water goes

On residential drives nobody asks. On commercial sites it is the first question, and the wrong answer loses the contract. EPA’s stormwater guidance is that untreated wash water carrying soaps, detergents, sediment or grease should not reach a storm drain, surface water or groundwater — municipal permit holders treat it as an illicit discharge. The best-practice answer is recovery on site, or discharge to the sanitary sewer with the authority’s agreement.

Your local rule is the operative one

State and municipal requirements differ, and they are what you will be held to. Check with your local water authority before bidding a site with a floor drain question, and put their answer in the method statement. (EPA NPDES stormwater material and the vehicle-washing BMP, read 2026-09-04.)
