What an exterior-cleaning invoice must carry

Getting paid on the day
- Take the deposit at acceptance, not on arrival. It filters out the customers who were never going to book.
- Invoice before you leave the drive. The satisfaction gap between a clean driveway and a payment closes fast.
- Photograph the finished work and attach it. It is a receipt and a marketing asset at once.
- Name one payment method you actually want. Three options is three chances to defer.
Sales tax varies and this sheet does not guess
Whether exterior cleaning is taxable, and at what rate, is a state and sometimes a city question. There is no tax line pre-filled here on purpose. Add one from your own registration; do not copy a rate from a template.

A template is a starting point. Terms that will hold up in your state are worth thirty minutes with someone who practises there, once, at the start.
